Correction of Saddle nose after Septoplasty

 



Causes

 

If nasal septum cartilage is excessively removed or damaged during previous surgery, middle part of nasal bridge sinks down making a Saddle nose.

 

Correction

 

In this case, reconstruction surgery of making nasal septum again is required.

 

If nasal septum cartilage is in complete loss, surgery should be done using autologous-rib cartialge.

So here is my Rhinoplasty journey.
I had a hump and deviated nose and I also had a previous nose job, almost three years ago.
So this time my operation was considered as a revision and mostly for cosmetic purpose.
Firstly, I have come to know about Hanabi rhinoplasty clinic by searching on the internet and looking into forums.
Once I noticed that its recommended by many ppl, I called my friend in Seoul and asked him to collect me more info about Hanabi rhinoplasty clinic and especially about the surgeon Dr. Chang Geun-Uck.
I found out that he is truly famous for his experience in Rhinoplasty and his patients were very satisfied with the out come.
Once I arrived in Seoul for sure I visited many other clinics as well. Other clinics and surgeons were also well known and good but most of them were looking to foreign patients as a Dollar sign.
What I found most appealing about Hanabi was that they treat you as a patient and really care about your problem, the price is also reasonable.
So long story short after two times of consultation (to make sure that me & Dr care on the same page and exactly notifying the problem). I got the surgery.
Thanks to the staffs of Hanabi for help and care both pre and post operation.
I really appreciate there nice treatment and attitude.
During first 5 days I had problem like swelling and bruising but it worths because the day that the cast is taken off I couldn’t believe it’s my nose!
I love it so much right away and was so happy.
No humpy & bumpy and deviated nose anymore.
That’s why I wrote this review of Hanabi.
Firstly to have appreciated staffs nice attitudes and help.
Secondly to have helped others in finding an excellent and truly experienced Rhinoplasty Doctor. Therefore, to you all who wants to get nose job, I highly recommend Dr. Chang Geun-Uck and I wish that every patient gets satisfied with their result as me.
