Silicone or Gore-tex is one of Arificial implant for augumentation.

 

But Non-artificial implant rhinoplasty (rhinoplasty without artificial implant) mean only use autologous cartilage for rhinoplasty.

 

(Autogous cartilage : nasal septum cartilage, ear cartilage, self-rib cartilage or self-dermis etc)

 

 

 

Silicone or Gore-tex can be a great option for patient.

 

However, Some patient doesn’t want have a artificial implant in their nose. or Some patient experienced side-effect of an artificial material in previous operation.

 

And also in case of paitent doesnt’ have enough cartilage, then Non-artifical implant rhinoplasty is great option.
