Nasal infection treatment and revision rhinoplasty

Rhinoplasty has under 1% of infection rate.

And if surgeon has fully experienced on rhinoplasty, that rate would lower than 1%.

But if you had infection on your nose after rhinoplasty, quick treatment is important.

When nose had infection, antibiotic treatment will be used in advance.

And if necessary, infected part will be cleansed. 

Doing revision rhinoplasty in infected state can make danger of getting infection again.

So, it is better to have revision rhinoplasty after finishing infection treatment. 

And, it is better to use autologous material (such as own rib cartilage or dermis) for revision.
