Nasal filler injection is a good method to give the result simply without surgery.
However, when side-effect occurs, it can cause a serious problem.
Permanent filler complication treatment
When side-effect ocurred by permanent filler (ex, polyacrylamide hydrogel, Aquamid), it is important to remove filler, granuloma, and scar tissue completely with surgical method.
1) Remove most of filler (over 95%) using surgical method.
2) Restore height and shape of nasal bridge using dermis.
If nasal skin has changed to thin, autologous dermis or donated dermis can be a good material.
3) Restore of nasal tip using autologous septal cartilage and ear cartilage.
